[TIFF 2009 Event] Green Carpet Opening Ceremony - Snapshots


Lasting almost 2 hours, the Green Carpet event saw guests, cast and crew from Japan and abroad, such as Jury President Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Film Festival Ambassador Yoshino Kimura, Green Ambassador Anne, and a huge contingent from China which included the likes of Zhao Wei, Jaycee Chan and Jingle Ma amongst others. This year's quirky flavour went to actress Masami Nagasawa, who appeared with a giant spoon prop, no doubt promoting her latest film Go Find a Psychic! which will make its world premiere during the festival.

The only representative from Singapore this year is Glen Goei's The Blue Mansion, and he's in Tokyo with actress Emma Yong. As always, the best way to cover the Green Carpet, is to let the pictures and videos do the talking. Here's the selected few from the hundreds taken at the event:
